What does the test test?
The test yields a panel of readings which include major male hormones and the following parameters, all of which may impact on erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, or other problems relating to intercourse, which may in turn impact on fertility:
- Lipid Profile
- Total Testosterone
- Free Testosterone
If you are worried about sperm, you may consider having a semen analysis carried out. Click here for more information.
What does the test do?
Collectively the panel of readings gives the first line pointers to the underlying reasons for erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, or problems relating to intercourse.
The test is also designed to identify health risk factors, which may be associated with these problems but need medical attention.
How much is the test?
How does erectile dysfunction impact on fertility?
One obvious factor that affects fertility is the frequency of sexual intercourse in couples. Erectile dysfunction reduces that frequency. Lower frequencies also mean that sexual intercourse may not take place at the right time of the partner’s cycle, or not at all thereby reducing the chances of natural pregnancy.
What do I have to do to prepare for the test?
You do not need to have any special preparation. The test can be taken anytime.
How long do I have to wait to get the test done?
We can offer same day appointment.
When would I get the test result?
3 working days after the test.
Can these problems be treated?
We have an excellent track record in improving hormones and sperm count and quality. Please go to the following pages for more information:
