Research programme and publications that TCM Healthcare has taken part in

TCM HealthCare has been active in developing research with a range of statutory agencies. We have completed a pilot research programme entitled: – ‘Acupuncture and depression, a randomized controlled trial’

A consortium, which consisted of the following organizations, conducted the research: –

  • University of London Medical school
  • Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust in London
  • TCM HealthCare

The aim was to investigate the effectiveness of acupuncture on mild to moderate depression in a primary care setting. We have written a paper based on the pilot study.
