Recurring miscarriages, defined as the loss of 3 or more consecutive pregnancies, affects 1% of couples trying to conceive. It has been estimated that 1–2% of second-trimester pregnancies miscarry before 24 weeks of gestation.
In Western medicine, doctors may suggest tests, which tend to be of a genetic nature. The assumption is that the cause of miscarriages have some kind of genetic origin. Another emerging test suggested is the killer cells tests.
At TCM Healthcare, we go back to basics and suggest patients do some basic reproductive hormone tests to start with. The reasons are twofold.
Firstly, we have found that in more than 90% of cases, basic reproductive hormone tests have either not been done, or not done properly, i.e. done on the wrong date or some key hormones, like oestradiol or testosterone, are missing.
Secondly, when the basic reproductive tests are carried out, the results show that some, or all, the hormones are at the wrong level.
Our treatment for miscarriages simply aim to re-balance the hormones. When the hormones become more balanced, successful pregnancies occur in many cases.

If you have booked a test and decide to change the time or date, we are more than happy to help you change it to one that is convenient to you at no extra charge. However, cancellation will carry a small administrative fee of £30, before refund.
