TCM HealthCare is managed by professionals who have a thorough understanding of health services in the UK.

 

Prof. S. Au, OBE, M.Phil (Cantab.), MBA (Cantab.) – Founder of TCM HealthCare

shun_au_obe2After finishing studies at Cambridge University (Linguistics and Management) and at City University, London (Psychology), Shun Au spent seven years working as a senior manager in the NHS prior to setting up TCM HealthCare. He has a strong interest in developing evidence-based complementary medicine and has had several papers published in this field.

Shun Au was commissioned by the Department of Health, England to conduct two surveys on complementary therapies in 2005.

He was a board member of NHS Trusts in London from 2002 to 2011.

Shun Au was appointed Visiting Professor at Ning Bo Medical School at Ning Bo University, Ning Bo, China in December 2013 for the longstanding contributions he has been making to mental health research and development in China since 2005.

Shun Au was appointed OBE in the Queen’s 80th Birthday Honours list for his longstanding charity work in the Chinese community. Shun Au receiving his OBE from HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace in November 2006 (photo on right).

Prof. Y. Li, M. Med. (Beijing, China), B. Med. (GuiYang, China)

Prof. Y. Li is Honorary Professor at the prestigious Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Beijing** which is a postgraduate TCM training centre recognised by the World Health Organisation.  Professor Y Li has a longstanding interest in gynaecology and fertility and has been a clinician at TCM HealthCare Fertility Clinic based in Harley Street since its inception in 2000.

 

** The China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now renamed as China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences) is where Prof. Tu Youyou, the Nobel Laureate for Medicine 2015 used to work.
